Jefferson County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to renew a $210,480 agreement with Manatron for hosted Internet public access services through March 2017.
The agreement comes at a monthly rate of $3,058 for the County Clerk’s public records web site.
The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a $187,500 bid to Industrial Safety Training Council for the sale of undeveloped land north of the Nederland City Limits.
The commissioners court voted unanimously to correct an award amount for a term contract with Clarke Mosquito Control for adulticides for the county’s mosquito control department. The award amount was corrected to state a cost of $166.75 per gallon for the adulticides.
The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve recommendations by the Jefferson County Tourism Committee to award hotel occupancy tax allocations to Jack Brooks Regional Airport and to the Beaumont Athletics Club.
Jack Brooks Regional Airport requested and received a recommended $10,000 allocation, while the Beaumont Athletics Club received $500 it had requested for a local tournament non-bid fee.
The commissioners court tabled action regarding a burn ban order for the county. No burn ban is currently in effect for the county.
The commissioners court tabled action regarding the adoption of guidelines for a voluntary tow rotation list.
