“We are happy to be hosting our annual Juneteenth community-wide celebration,” said Bush Library and Museum Director of Education Dr. Shirley Hammond. “Juneteenth is a time for a general reflection about individual values and celebrating the strength of our community by supporting everyone's talents. Through our programming we connect to the importance of freedom, educational opportunities, and encouraging achievement.”

The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum presents the Juneteenth Celebration program in partnership with the Lincoln Recreation Center, Neal Recreation Center, North Bryan Community Center, Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Valley, Brazos Valley African American Museum and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
