Performances and Concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include Houston’s Juneteenth Festival, featuring Joe Sample, and a second weekend of concerts by the Houston Symphony Orchestra, both at Miller Outdoor Theater in Houston.

Miller Outdoor Theatre will also host a second weekend of the ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights concert series, with concerts by the Houston Symphony Orchestra, on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Main Street Theater in Houston will continue with “Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins” on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Additional performances this week are on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 7 p.m. The production runs through July 1.
Stage Door, Inc. in Pasadena concludes its production of “The Sound of Music” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson concludes the theater’s run of “Is He Dead?” this week.
Performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
The Alley Theatre in Houston concludes its production of “Noises Off”, with performances Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Upcoming performances include Agatha Christie’s “Black Coffee”, opening June 29, and “Androcles and the Lion”, opening June 30, both at Company OnStage in Houston.
