Galveston and Pearland Runoff Elections

Galveston and Pearland will hold runoff elections on Saturday to determine winners in a mayoral and two city council races.

Galveston will hold a runoff election for mayor and the District 4 council seat. Incumbent Mayor Joe Jaworski will face off against challenger Lewis Rosen. The race for District 4 will be between Diana Puccetti and Norman Pappous. Puccetti served in the District 6 city council seat previously, but had to run for District 4 due to redistricting. The District 4 seat was previously held by Chris Gonzalez, who ran for District 2, also due to redistricting.  Rusty Legg was elected in that race.

Pearland will hold a runoff election between Tammy Dexter and Keith Ordeneaux for Position 4 on the city council. The position is currently held by Felicia Harris, who did not seek re-election in order to seek election to the 14th Congressional District of Texas. Pearland Election Information
