Texas Governor Rick Perry has made appointments to the 266th Judicial District in Erath County, the 266th Judicial District Court in Erath County, the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, and the Texas State Cemetery Committee.
Governor Perry appointed Alan Nash of Stephenville as district attorney of the 266th Judicial District in Erath County for a term to expire at the next general election.

Governor Perry appointed John Huffman of Southlake to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for a term to expire Oct. 31, 2017. The board regulates the practice of psychology in Texas.

Governor Perry appointed James L. "Jim" Bayless, Jr. of Austin to the Texas State Cemetery Committee for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2017. The three-member committee oversees the day-to-day operations of the Texas State Cemetery. As required by statute, this position is appointed by the governor from a list recommended and submitted by the House Speaker.
