Galveston County Sheriff's Office
News Release
Thursday, July 05, 2012

Three men robbed a San Leon store at gunpoint late Tuesday afternoon.

Galveston County Sheriff’s deputies were called to San Leon Marine Supply in the 2100 block of FM 517 about 6:29pm Tuesday to investigate the reported robbery.  Detectives learned three young males of Asian descent entered the store brandishing pistols, tying up the store owner and his wife before taking an as yet undetermined amount of cash, jewelry, computers, and the owner’s silver 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

The victims were not injured during the hold-up.

Investigators have few leads to help them identify the assailants, and they ask that anyone with information call the Sheriff’s Office TIP line at (866) 248-8477.
