Architecture Center Houston’s (ArCH) first Texas Student Biennial Exhibition will feature work from all eight schools of architecture in Texas. On Display will be project boards, slide shows and architectural models.

On Friday, September 7, 2012 ArCH will host a Dean’s Roundtable Discussion featuring the deans of all eight schools and moderated by Texas Society of Architects President-elect and former University of Texas School of Architecture dean, Larry Speck, FAIA. Each dean will briefly speak about the unique aspects of their program, followed by questions from the moderator and the audience. The Dean’s Roundtable Discussion will be followed by AIA Houston and Architecture Center Houston’s annual Back to School Bash, a social event for local architecture students.

Architecture Center Houston is located downtown at 315 Capitol, Suite 120 on the corner of Bagby and Capitol. Parking is available in the Hobby Center parking garage located across the street with entrances on Rusk and Walker. ($8) The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Fridays from 9am to 3pm. This exhibit and the Deans’ Roundtable Discussion are free and open to the public.
