Aliene Warner
Malloy and Son Funeral Home

Aliene Warner, 94, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Brazos Valley Hospice.  She was born April 13, 1918, in Dallas, Texas and worked as a switchboard operator for the Jack Tar Hotel and then for Galveston College until her retirement.

Aliene was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Warner, Jr. and daughters, Marlene Rutherford Chaney, Frances Warner, and Ann Rachal.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Susan Swan, Glen Rutherford, Jr., Clyde Rutherford, Sharon Lane, Nancy Davis, James Rachal, Mark Rachal, Howard Rachal, and Melissa Randolph; 18 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 18th, at Calvary Cemetery in Galveston.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Shelia Ferguson and Nancy O’Toole for their love and compassion.
