Residents Encouraged to Attend County Subregional Planning Initiative Public Meeting

WHAT: Fort Bend County Subregional Planning Initiative Public Meeting

The Houston-Galveston Area Council is seeking resident input on the area’s regional plan, which outlines long-range issues such as mobility, economic development and growth within the study area. The initiative is a new program that facilitates coordinated transportation and land use planning studies at a subregional level.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Missouri City Community Center, 1522 Texas Pkwy.

Stakeholders will speak with residents about the program and get their feedback. Residents are encouraged to share ideas, to help identify local and regional priorities and to help develop scenarios to guide planning efforts.
