HOUSTON — The Coast GuardLouisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office recovered the body of the other missing fisherman on Lake Charles in Louisiana, Sunday morning.

A Station Lake Charles response boat crew found the man's body at 6:53 a.m., 200 yards southeast of where the men's jon boat had been located.

"Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of the two men," stated Elvie Damaso, a search and rescue controller for Sector Houston-Galveston.

A concerned family member contacted watchstanders at Station Lake Charles Friday at 11:20 p.m. reporting the two men went fishing aboard a 16-foot jon boat and did not return home.

Department of Wildlife and Fisheries crews recovered the first body Saturday at 4:53 a.m., approximately a quarter mile south of the Isle of Capri Casino.

The jon boat was located Saturday at 6:23 a.m., overturned in the water approximately 300-feet to the south of where the body was located.
