Performances and Concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast region include screenings of three classic movies starring Humphrey Bogart at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston.
Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will present “Classic Bogart Movies at Miller”, which includes three films starring Humphrey Bogart. The series kicks off on Tuesday with “Casablanca”, then continues on Wednesday with “Key Largo”, and ends Thursday with a screening of “Treasure of the Sierra Madre”. All showings begin at 8 p.m.
Miller Outdoor Theatre will also host the Children’s Hilltop Festival this week. The series kicks off Tuesday with a performance of “The Three Little Pigs”, and continues throughout the week with “Hansel & Gretel” on Wednesday, “Goldilocks” on Thursday, and “Pinocchio” on Friday. All performances are at 11 a.m. and presented by Express Children’s Theater.
Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay concludes its run of “The Taming of the Shrew” this week, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Main Street Theater concludes its showing of “Dog Act” this week. Performances are on Thursday at 7:30, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Stage Door, Inc. in Pasadena continues with “The Red Velvet Cake War”. Performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 pm. The production runs through August 12.
College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City continues its production of “The Wedding Singer” this week. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through August 12.
Island etc East-End Theatre Company in Galveston continues with “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. The show runs through August 11.
The Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson continues with Gilbert & Sullivan's “The Pirates of Penzance” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
The production runs through August 5.
The Alley Theatre in Houston will continue its production of Agatha Christie's “Black Coffee”, with performances Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The production continues through August 5.
Company OnStage in Houston concludes its own production of “Black Coffee” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.
CompanyOnStage will also conclude its production of “Androcles and the Lion”, with performances on Saturday at 11 a.m. And 1:30 p.m.
