Santa Fe ISD Board of Trustees

The Santa Fe Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to approve FY2013 salary schedules for the district’s employees.

The salary schedules include a two-percent increase for all employees of the district.

The board voted to approve an internship agreement with University of Houston-Clear Lake. 

The internship affiliation agreement allows students seeking education degrees or teacher certification at the university to participate in internship programs at designated schools in Santa Fe.

The board voted to approve a collegiate high school memorandum of understanding with College of the Mainland.

The board voted to approve a dual credit partnership with College of the Mainland for the 2012-2013 school year.

The board voted to approve an agreement with Galveston Independent School District for the use of a police canine unit.

The board voted to approve a facility use agreement with the Santa Fe Historical Foundation.

All items were approved.  All votes were unanimous with Trustee Darnell Gwin absent.  Agenda
