PUBLIC MEETING TO RECEIVE COMMENT ON THE DRAFT PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PLAN

WHO: The Houston-Galveston Area Council, local elected officials, community leaders, and residents of the Houston-Galveston Region.

WHAT: Invitation to a meeting to receive comments on the DRAFT Public Participation Plan (PPP).

WHY: The updated PPP reflects H-GAC’s documented public involvement process for providing public access to information used in the development of the long-range Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The public is encouraged to participate by reviewing and commenting on the Draft PPP.

COMMENTS: The public comment period for the Draft PPP began on Monday, July 9, 2012 and ends on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Written comments may be submitted to Transportation Public Information, Houston-Galveston Area Council, P.O. Box 22777, Houston, TX 77227-2777, faxed to 713-993-4508 or emailed to PublicComments@h-gac.com.
