"We started the ASPCA $100,000 Challenge with great momentum and we are doing everything we can to continue increasing adoptions and saving lives throughout the Challenge," said Alfred Moran, Director of the Administration & Regulatory Affairs Department, which oversees BARC. "We are trying to provide as many opportunities as possible - through onsite and offsite adoption events - for Houstonians to adopt from BARC. And if we win the Challenge, we will purchase a mobile adoption unit that will allow us to expand our offsite adoption events to the entire City of Houston."
BARC plans to hold numerous onsite and offsite adoption events throughout the ASPCA $100K Challenge to help reach its goal of 2,100 adoptions to win the $100,000 grand prize grant.
