Izora Clouser
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Izora ClouserIzora Clouser, 80, received her reward of eternal rest on August 14, 2012, at UTMB Hospital.

Born on "Valentine's Day" in 1932, Izora Dorsey Clouser was raised by her grandparents Rev. and Mrs. Wallace Lee Bullock. She grew up in the Flatbush Burroughs of Brooklyn, New York. She attended Brooklyn Girls High School for Homemaking. Her studies were in vocational nursing.

Izora married Gerald Zachary Clouser at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on November 17, 1949. She said that she became "B.O.I.".

Izora is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald Zachary Clouser and her five children: Gerald Zachary Closure, Jr., Johnathon Zachary, Sr., Lorri Carmel, Hazel Clouser-Smith and Valerie Clouser-McHenry and 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by a rosary at 6:00 PM on today, August 17th at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2012 also at Holy Rosary with Father John Taosan, C.I.C.M. as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
