The Hitchcock Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to name Board Member Estelle Holmes as delegate and Board Member Edward Wilson as alternate to the Texas Association of School Boards 2012-2013 Delegate Assembly.

The board voted to endorse Benny May for election to the Texas Association of School Boards Board of Directors.

The board voted to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of Hitchcock for school resource officers from the Hitchcock Police Department at the schools.

The board voted to appoint Shirley Price and Wilson as representatives from the board on the Audit/Finance Committee.

The board voted to appoint Kathy Cruse and Shirley Carey as community members on the Audit/Finance Committee.

The board voted to schedule November 9 as an alumni night.

All items were approved, except that the board took no action following an executive session to discuss hiring new employees. All votes were unanimous with all members present. Agenda
