Fort Bend County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to approve a $42,000 contract with Hicks-Richardson Associates for professional services related to federal legislative issues during FY2013.

Hicks-Richardson Associates will serve as a consultant to assist the county with follow-up and outreach to Congress and the Federal Emergency Management Agency regarding the implementation of the recently reauthorized Flood Insurance Modernization Reform provisions.

The firm will also assist in outreach and support with the Department of Transportation with the goal of modifying the Urbanized Area Formula Funding Program.

The commissioners court voted to extend a contract for bank depository services with Prosperity Bank for an additional two years.

The contract extension will continue the bank’s services for the county through September 30, 2014.

The commissioners court voted to reappoint Frank Yonish, Dana Leared Koy and Allan J. Harris to the Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 15 Board of Directors.

All items were approved.  All votes were unanimous with Commissioner Grady Prestage absent.  Agenda
