GREATER HOUSTON PARTNERSHIP to announce NEW PRESIDENT & ceO
houston – The Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) will announce its new President and CEO at a special media briefing tomorrow. The announcement of new leadership comes on the eve of the organization’s 25th anniversary, which the Partnership will be celebrated beginning in 2014.
GHP is the largest and most influential business organization in the region. It uses its influence to bring about changes that make Houston the best place to live, play and work. Its historical roots date back to 1840 with the founding of the Houston Chamber of Commerce. GHP was founded in 1989 with the merger of the Greater Houston Chamber of Commerce, the Houston Economic Development Council and the Houston World Trade Association.
