Harris County Sheriff's Office
News Release
Wednesday, September 05, 2012

(HOUSTON, TX) – Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) have arrested two men for stealing jewelry from a business in north Harris County. The public’s help is needed in identifying and locating a third suspect.

On August 12, 2012, HCSO deputies responded to a theft that had occurred at the KC Jewelry store located at 2770 N. Sam Houston Pkwy.

The owner stated that he was sitting in his office area when one of the suspects approached his window and began asking him various questions to distract him from his showcase area. While he was talking to the man, two other suspects unsuccessfully tried to unlock the showcase with a set of keys and eventually left.

Later, the owner realized the three suspects had returned, grabbed various cases full of jewelry, put them in a bag, and left. Their actions were captured on surveillance video.

The two suspects in custody and charged with theft are:

Jody Evans , DOB: 12/26/75

Undrake Clark, DOB: 10/29/72

The third suspect has not been identified. He is described as a black male, heavy set, 5’3” tall, between the ages of 35 to 40. Surveillance photos of him are in the set at the top right of this page.
