El Lago City Council canceled its Wednesday night meeting, which included proposal of an increase to the city's tax revenues for 2012 on the agenda.

The city council postponed the meeting until September 12 in order to review some of the items and gather more information before taking action.

The agenda also included an interlocal agreement with Taylor Lake Village for operation of the Lakeview Police Department, which serves both cities. Taylor Lake Village, which met on Wednesday, approved the interlocal agreement.  Report
