Taylor Lake Village City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of El Lago to operate and fund the Lakeview Police Department.
The cities each share in the operation of the department, which provides service to both towns. El Lago postponed its meeting on Wednesday, but will consider the agreement on September 12.
