“As a native Houstonian, I have watched Houston’s remarkable growth and transformation through the years. The Greater Houston Partnership, throughout its history, has played a pivotal role in Houston’s growth and change,” said Harvey. “It is an honor to now have the opportunity to lead this great organization. I look forward to working with its dedicated employees, its members and key business leaders and elected officials throughout the Houston region.”

I look forward to working with Bob,” added Chase.

“I congratulate Bob on his appointment. As a member of the task force that was involved in the CEO search process, I echo Chairman Chase’s comments in noting that Bob is well-suited to serve as GHP’s CEO,” said Paul W. Hobby.

“Like Bob, I am also a native Houstonian and I am deeply rooted and invested in what happens in the region, as is my family. The Partnership’s rich history is part of the very fabric that makes Houston the great city that is today. I have come to know the Partnership as a strong leader that has helped the Texas Medical Center, the Port of Houston, the region’s universities and the Houston airport system to ensure continued economic prosperity in the region,” added Hobby.
