Railroad Crossing Closure Announcement:
South Major Drive North of US 90

Beaumont, Texas - On Tuesday, September 11th, the railroad crossing on South Major Drive just north of US 90 will be closed from 8 AM until 5:00 PM for replanking.  Detour signage (provided by a traffic control company) will be placed the day of the road closure and portable changeable message signs (provided by TxDOT-Traffic) will be placed today and tomorrow, to inform the closure. Motorists are asked to be aware of all detour signs, advance warnings including other signage, and travel with caution.
