Nassau Bay City Council on Monday voted unanimously to designate Council Member Brad Bailey as representative and Council Member Jonathan Amdur as alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council General Assembly.

The city council voted unanimously to cast the city’s ballots in favor of electing Jay Stokes, city manager of Deer Park, to the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool Board of Trustees.

The city council voted unanimously to appoint Stacy Froeschner as municipal court clerk.

The city council discussed, but took no action regarding the evaluation of City Manager Chris Reed.  Reed’s evaluation was discussed in closed session.  Action on the item was postponed until a special meeting on September 17.

The city council held a public hearing regarding the city’s proposed budget for FY2013.  No members of the public came forward to speak during the public hearing.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  All members were present.  Agenda
