Multiple Agencies Collaborate on Street Level Narcotics Suppression

GPD, UTMBPD, GCSO, BCSO, and DEA Participate

Galveston, TX – Throughout last night and into the early hours of this morning federal, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies came together to battle the sale of illegal narcotics in Galveston. The Drug Enforcement Agency, University of Texas Medical Branch Police Department, Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, and the Galveston Police Department sent their agents and officers on a street level narcotics suppression initiative.

The following arrests were made during this detail:




Kendrick Daniels, B/M, 06/29/1977, was arrested in the 3500 block of Ave M for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. His bond is set at $60,000.








Gilbert Figgins, B/M, 01/16/1965, was arrested in the 900 block of 39th Street for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. His bond is set at $60,000.








Brian Conegie, B/M, 04/30/1982, was arrested at 2804 Ave R ½ for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. His bond is set at $2,000.





The Galveston Police Department would like to thank all of the officers and agencies involved and commend them for an outstanding job. It is collaborative efforts like this that will make a difference in the safety and welfare of our city.
