Thursday, September 20, 2012

Ellington Airport in Houston hosted the Space Shuttle Endeavour on Wednesday on its stop before continuing to California.

The shuttle was open to view until 9 p.m., drawing crowds of onlookers to see the shuttle before it reaches its final destination at the California Science Center, where it will be placed on display.  The trip had been delayed from Monday due to weather.

The Endeavour, atop its 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, departed Houston's Ellington Field at about 7 a.m. More
