The Galveston Island Shrimp Festival featured “three full days of shrimp, boats, music, friends and fun returns” this weekend.

Event activities included a Shrimp Gumbo Cook-Off, Gumbo Tasting, 5K Fun Run, free Boat & RV Show, live music, vendors, the Children’s Lil’ Shrimp Parade, Kids Area and a Strand Merchant Walk-About.
