3rd Annual US China Educational, Economic & Cultural Summit 2012

The 3rd Annual US China Educational, Economic & Cultural Summit 2012 will be held at the Hilton Americas Downtown Houston 4th Floor Grand Ballroom A-F, 1600 Lamar, Houston, TX 77010, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2012.

The summit is co-sponsored by US China Educational, Economic & Cultural Foundation (UCEECF), Jiangsu Province Government of China, Houston Chinese Chamber of Commerce, MGD International Inc. and Greater Houston Partnership (GHP). The key theme of the US China Educational, Economic & Cultural Summit 2012 is “Corporate Diversity Leadership & Strategic Partnership for International Business Opportunities.” The event is also co-organized by more than 40 other local and international organizations.  Information Packet

Based on the great success and influence of the past UCEECF summits, the summit this year is to be presented on a larger scale and content and featured with a special delegation of 30 members from the People’s Republic of China consisting of government leaders, artists and business owners. .” The summit will offer critical insights for business and governmental entities seeking to develop, or expand their collaborative endeavors. Many key government officials and business leaders will share their own personal experience in opportunities, strategies and steps necessary to be successful in the United States and the world’s largest emerging market – China. Not only participants will have the opportunity to associate top management from US and Chinese companies to gain relevant insight, and also to have the unforgettable experience of seeing special Chinese art painting exhibition and live painting by special group of distinguished Chinese painting artists organized by UCEECF.

The event will consist of three sessions:

1.      Panel Discussion Sessions in Corporate Diversity Business Leadership & Strategic Partnership for International Business Opportunities. (Scheduled for 1pm-5:30pm)

2.      Special Networking Mixer and and Special Live Painting Session. (Scheduled for 5:30pm-6:30pm)

3.      Gala Awards Dinner. (Scheduled for 7pm-9:30pm)

The honorable panelists and keynote speakers are business, corporate, government leaders and represent industries such as Oil & Gas, Medical Care, Construction, Food Related, Engineering, Information Technology, Education and Small to Medium Sized Businesses etc. A Special Networking Mixer offers opportunities to develop valuable connections with panelists and representatives from local Houston businesses and organizations. Gala Awards Dinner included with traditional Chinese cultural performances, special live painting session, and award ceremony.

More than 40 local and international organizations have participated in the organizing committee. Organizers hope to bring the most comprehensive and rewarding experience to all participants and to serve for small to medium sized business in the Greater Houston Area.

The Summit aims to create a business platform which will enhance opportunities for businesses from US and Mainland China, promote Chinese traditional culture and initiate private and business partnerships, which will enhance mutual understanding and development of US-China business relations.
