Gift Yourself With Safety Knowledge This Holiday Season:
Attend a Citywide Crime Prevention Meeting

The Missouri City Police Department will host a citywide crime prevention meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 14, to help curb crime rates during the upcoming holiday season—the time of year, statistically, when police see a spike in certain offenses.

The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center, 3849 Cartwright Rd.

Sgt. Philip Enghlishbee will host the event, which will feature presentations from Police Community Liaison Officer Evett Kelly, and members of the Burglary and Auto Theft and Gang Task Forces. Sgt. Enghlishbee will discuss home and personal safety tips and the City’s proactive crime-prevention programs.

The forum was planned to further help citizens protect their families and property as Police generally see an increase in the following crimes during the holiday season: thefts, burglaries, criminal mischief and assault.

To learn about the City’s prevention programs, visit the website: www.missouricitytx.gov and watch Missouri City Television (Ch. 16 on Comcast and Ch. 99 on AT&T U-verse).
