Texas City ISD Board of Trustees

The Texas City Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve applying for class size waivers for elementary classes exceeding the 22 students per teacher requirements.

The school board voted to approve an agreement with Communities in Schools.  The organization works within the school system and with local businesses, social service agencies, and parent and volunteer organizations to provide needed resources for students.

The board voted to approve a scoreboard agreement with the Foundation for the Future.

The board voted to approve a district auction of surplus items.

All items were approved.  All votes were unanimous with all members present.  Agenda
