The City of Seabrook has collected this month’s revenue from the State Comptroller’s Office. The total amount of revenue received was $205,280.31.

This month’s figure reflects a .62% increase or a $1,263.10 increase from October 2011.

The year-to-date total sales tax revenue for fiscal year 2012-2013 is up .62% or a $1,263.10 increase from last year’s total at this time. Fiscal year-to-date actual sales revenue is $205,280.31.

Seabrook’s sales tax is broken up into three funds; General Fund (51%), Economic Development Corporation (25%) and the Crime Control District (24%). The June revenue breakdown is as follows:

  • General Fund - $104,079.36
  • Economic Development Corporation Fund - $52,820.04
  • Crime Control District Fund - $49,161.28

Sales tax revenue is generated by sales tax income from two months prior to collection; October collection is based on August sales.
