The Hitchcock City Commission on Monday voted unanimously to name Commissioner Fard Abdullah as representative and Mayor Anthony Matranga as alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council General Assembly.
The city commission voted to approve a request to prepare a letter of agreement for the opening of a portion of a closed road on Blimp Base Boulevard. The item was requested by Bill Reitmeyer, who owns property that would be opened to the closed portion of the road.
The city commission voted to adopt a resolution to participate in the Texas Home Investment Partnerships Program Reservation System.
