Wednesday, October 17, 2012

Clear Lake Shores City Council on Tuesday voted 4-1, with Amanda Booren opposed, to appoint Interim Police Chief Kenneth Cook to the position on a permanent basis.

The item was approved following executive session discussions.  Cook has served as chief on an interim basis since August 2011, following City Administrator Paul Shelley’s resignation from the position.

The city council directed the city’s Park Committee to research a different location for a proposed dog park.

The city council voted unanimously to appoint Brent Eyster to the Waterfront Compliance Committee.

The city council voted unanimously to cancel the city council meetings of November 20 and December 18.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  All members were present.  Agenda
