The Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to name Dr. Robert Branch as director of human resources.

Branch currently serves as principal of Clear View High School. 

The board voted 4-1, with Page Rander opposed, to name Michael Alvarez as principal of Clear Lake Intermediate School.  Alvarez has worked for the district as assistant principal at Clear Brook High School.

The board voted unanimously to approve the schematic design for a proposed park at League City Elementary.

The park is being developed through an interlocal agreement between the school district and the City of League City.  The city has provided grant funds for construction of the park on property owned by the district.

The board voted unanimously to name members of the 2012-2013 School Health Advisory Council.  The members include:

• Parent Chairperson- Melissa Rackley;
• Parents/Community Partners - Shelley Ellis, Elizabeth Arceneaux, Danette Brown, Melissa Corley, Robin Groeper, Debbie Simmons, Rocklyn Harper, Paige Glover, Shaheen Rahman, Nichola Rodriguez, Ashley Scoggins, Amanda McLauchlin, Michael Beel, Heather Kerbow, Nick Long, Crystal Ortiz, Robert Quillin, Meg Kneeshaw, Karen Parker, and Virginia Thomason;
• CCISD members - Pam Alford, Denise Crouch, Mary Fonke-Harris, Debbie Fuchs, Amy Killgore, Jerri Stepp, and Suzie Thomas

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  Trustees Win Weber and Robert Davee were absent.  Agenda
