The College of the Mainland Board of Trustees on Monday voted to schedule a meeting for December 12 as a combined November/December meeting for the board.
The board voted unanimously to name Ronald LeVick as a systems administrator in the Information Technology Services.
The board honored Dr. Larry Durrence for his service to the college as interim president. The board voted to name Dr. Amy Locklear, vice president for instruction as acting president until a permanent replacement is named. Report
The board received a report from the Presidential Search Committee. The committee will meet on Friday as part of the interview process for finalists being considered for the position.
The board voted to approve a revised contingency fee agreement related to the recovery of windstorm insurance proceeds concerning damages from Hurricane Ike. Discussion of the item was moved to an executive session.
