The Improvements are intended to Enhance Safety and Mobility in the Humble Area

HOUSTON — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct a public meeting for proposed roadway improvements to BF 1960A between FM 1960 West of Lee Road and FM 1960 East of Humble intended to enhance safety and mobility in the Humble area.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Humble Civic Center, which is located at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, Texas 77338. The meeting will be held in an open house format from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed project which would replace the center left-turn lane with raised medians, and left-turn bays in select areas. No additional right-of-way would be required for the project and no displacements would be necessary.

Exhibits showing aerial photography and schematic plans will be presented at the meeting.  Representatives from the TxDOT and their study team will be available to answer individual questions.

All interested persons are invited to attend this public meeting.  Written comments relative to the proposed project may be presented at the meeting or submitted to Texas Department of Transportation at any time on or before November 13, 2012.
