HOUSTON - The Harris County Tejano Democrats have supported Houston City Council Member Andrew Burks as their candidate for reelection of Houston City Council At Large Position 2.
“I am honored to stand with the Harris County Tejano Democrats to support policies and work toward building a strong economy,” said Council Member Burks. “I am committed to continue fighting to make our economy stronger and improving the cities public safety and infrastructure.”
After a detailed selection of interested candidates, the Screening and Endorsement committee recommended that Harris County Tejano Democrats vote to endorse Andrew Burks in the November 5th election. The decision to support Burks was made by an enthusiastic vote at the August monthly meeting.
