Port of Beaumont Board of Commissioners

The Port of Beaumont Board of Commissioners today voted unanimously to approve an engagement letter with Germer PLLC for continued legal services, with Guy Goodson continuing to serve as the port’s attorney.

The contract is for two years, and did not include a price increase.

The board voted to appoint Port Director and CEO Chris Fisher to serve as delegate to the annual convention and meeting of the American Association of Port Authorities. The event will be held in Houston November 9-13.

The board voted to adopt a resolutions a policy and procedures manual in accordance with the Local Government Records Management Act.

“We updated one of our policies that we have to have in place for the Local Government Records Act,” Fisher said in a report on the meeting. Listen (1:40)

The board voted to approve the attendance of a commissioner at the Golden Triangle Days event in Austin. The event will be held March 1-3, 2015.

All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with all members present. Agenda
