Port of Orange Board of Commissioners

The Port of Orange Board of Commissioners on Monday voted unanimously to award a $261,345 contract to Collins Engineers to conduct wharf inspections.

The inspections will provide recommendations for dock repairs for renovations.

The board voted to approve the port's annual contribution rate from the Texas County and District Retirement System for calendar year 2018. The port's contributions were reduced from 5.09 percent of payroll in 2017 to 4.25 percent for 2018.

The board voted to approve a lease with SMH Polymer for warehouse space on Border Street.

The board voted to approve a lease agreement with Industrial Sheet Metal for lease of warehouse space at Pier Road.

All action items were approved. All votes were unanimous with all members present. Agenda
