Galveston County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve and adopt the update to the Galveston County Parks Master Plan. Parks Master Plan

The commissioners court authorized the update to the Parks, Recreation Open Spaces and Conservation/Natural Resource Master Plan and Needs Assessment to ensure the goals, objectives and priorities for the development of parks and recreation facilities in the county are still relevant and needed.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve Sire annual video steaming hosting with Hyland Software.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve the selection of nine public members and 31 alternates to serve on the Galveston County Salary Grievance Committee.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to proclaim September as Family Mealtime Month.

The commissioners court met in executive session, but did not take action on the items discussed, which included an agreement with the City of Galveston to house city inmates at the Galveston County Jail, and execution of a writ of possession of land in the matter of the County of Galveston, Texas Petitioner vs. Gulf Coast Rod, Reel and Gun Club, Inc.

All other agenda items were approved unanimously with all members present. Agenda
