Clear Lake Shores City Council

Clear Lake Shores City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a $2,000 sponsorship for the 56th Annual Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce Christmas Boat Lane Parade.

The city council discussed, but took no action regarding the advisability of adopting an ordinance restricting or prohibiting the parking of semi-trucks or trailers on residential zoned property.

The city council discussed, but took no action regarding issues at the swimming pool, including glass containers, smoking in restrooms and the pool, and other behavioral issues.

The city council postponed action regarding the Clear Lake Emergency Medical Corps' assessment of $32,022 for FY2018 and 5 percent annual increases thereafter for emergency medical services for Clear Lake Shores. The item was postponed for further review of the assessment.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Jan Bailey was absent. Agenda
