Multiple Arrests for Online Solicitation of aMinor

The Galveston Police Department and the La Marque Police Department joined forces to combat online solicitation of minors as part of a three day operation to identify and arrest suspected child predators.

During the three day operation in July, a total of 5 arrests were made with bonds varying from $30,000 -$80,000. Three of the accused reside in Galveston County and two others traveled from Conroe and Cleveland, Texas.

The Galveston Police Department and La Marque Police Department worked closely with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office during the operation and have completed several similar operations in recent past.

Several other agencies assisted during the operation to include the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Pearland Police Department, Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children, and Webster Police Department.

The suspects:

  • Sean Christopher Davis – 28 $30,000 bond
  • Kennith Dale Cooper – 37 $40,000 bond
  • Juan Gomez Alvarado – 20 $80,000 bond
  • Epifanio Jimenez – 37 $80,000 bond
  • Xavier Lynnal Young – 27 $75,000 bond
