The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office and Crime Stoppers need the public’s assistance identifying a person of interest in connection with a fire at the Black-Eyed Pea building, 2005 W. FM 1960, Houston, TX 77090. On Saturday, August 5, at approximately 11:26 p.m., a person was captured on a surveillance camera entering the vacant Black-Eyed Pea building.

At approximately 11:28 p.m. a person is seen leaving the building. A witness provided investigators with the following description: African American male; 120-130 pounds; goatee; short and curly hair; wearing all black clothing, a red bandana, hanging from left rear pant pocket; and Nike shoes, brown on bottom black on top.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to felony charges or an arrest of the suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
