Santa Fe City Council on Thursday voted unanimously to approve a contract with the Galveston County Health District for water pollution control and abatement services for FY2018.

The city council voted 6-1, with Charles Coleman opposed, to deny a request to rezone property at 17410 Highway 6 from a Highway Commercial District to an Agricultural Residential District.

The city council voted unanimously to confirm City Manager Joe Dickson's appointment of Stacey Baker as director of administrative services.

The city council voted unanimously to reappoint Jason Tabor, Mark Mazoch, Scott Eckenrode and Wayne Bacot, and appoint Greg Vicknair to the Zoning Board of Adjustment.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the reappointments of Winnie Casaro, Vince Megale, Ronnie Willoughby, Greg Smith and Donald Davis to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
