Kemah City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to authorize the RFQ Committee to continue the evaluation of proposals for the development of a hotel conference center, including any necessary conversations with any of the proponents, as discussed in closed session.

The city council voted unanimously to authorize the drafting of a proposed 380 Economic Development Agreement with a perspective business interested in expanding within Kemah, as discussed in closed session.

The city council took no action regarding approval of any necessary budget amendments.

The city council tabled action regarding a side setback variance requested for 406 Bay Avenue.

The city council voted unanimously to approve an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the construction, maintenance and operation of continuous highway lighting systems along State Highway 146.

The item was approved with a minor typographical correction.

The city council voted unanimously to approve funding requests recommended by the Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund Grant Review Committee, with the exception of a request by the Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
