Tax Office and County Attorney’s Office Announce Property Tax Workshops
New Fall Series for Senior Homeowners

Houston - Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Ann Harris Bennett and Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan announce a new Property Tax Workshop series for Senior Homeowners.

This series of workshops is geared toward homeowners over 65 years who need to learn more about the property tax tools available to them, such as homestead exemptions and deferrals, and how to prepare for the future and probate matters. Flyer

The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office maintains more than 1.6 million property accounts and collects for 71 taxing entities. The Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office collects more than $6 billion in property taxes.
