Voluntary Evacuation River Flooding Update

Residents living West of the Brazos need to stay very vigilant. The Brazos and San Bernard Rivers are forecasted by the National Weather Service to reach their flood stage with additional rainfall. Evacuation routes outside of Brazoria County will be limited due to this regional storm event.

Stay informed, watch the river levels and be ready to evacuate in a moment’s notice. If you flooded in the 2016 Brazos River flood expect to flood again. Residents along the San Bernard River need to be aware of the historic rise in the river predicted by the National Weather Service. Make your evacuation plans NOW and be PREPARED.

Mandatory evacuations will be forthcoming when conditions warrant. BE PREPARED!!
