League City Flood Event

The City of League City, and its departments are facing expected challenges associated with a major flood event including high water areas and street closures across the City. We have received 20 inches of rain in the last 12 hours and we are expecting up to 10 inches of rain in the next 12 hours. Rain is expected to continue throughout the week.

City officials are asking if you are in a dry safe place, please stay put and do not try to drive until water goes down. Call Centers are receiving a high volume of 911 calls, so please call only if you are in imminent danger. We will continue to monitor the storm and work through the morning to respond to emergencies.

Medical facilities known to be actively treating patients are Bay Area Regional Medical Center, Elite Care and First Choice.
