Imminent Threat: Kingwood Drive 

Houston - Houston City Council Member Dave Martin would like to make all Kingwood residents aware that there is potential for Kingwood Drive to be completely covered with water. If you are exploring the area please return to your homes immediately and hunker down, avoiding all local travel. 

Rescue efforts are continuing in the Kingwood Area, high water vehicles are deployed as well as boats. Leaving your home at this time is not advisable. The Houston Police Department, Houston Fire Department, and the United States Coast Guard are in the area assisting and responding to all calls. For the safety of our first responders please seek shelter immediately.

The Kingwood Citizen Line is open and can be reached at 832-395-1820. The District E office continues to monitor the weather from remote locations and the best way to reach the office is districte@houstontx.gov.
