Fort Bend County Issues Evacuations 

UPDATE 8/28 3 p.m.: Marshall High School, 1220 Buffalo Run,  Missouri City, TX 77489, has been identified as a new shelter location for Fort Bend County residents under evacuation. It will open at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 28.
The City has five tasks forces with boats mobilized; as of 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 28, they have conducted 18 rescues.
From the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management: At the request of the engineers operating Fort Bend County LIDS 15 and 19, the voluntary evacuation order has upgraded to MANDATORY EVACUATION. Residents are to leave as soon as possible. Please gather your family, pets, and personal belongings.

LIDS 15 & 19 include the following subdivisions: FBC LID #15; Alden Springs at Riverstone, Auburn Manor, Avalon, Brookside, Cabrera Dr,
Crescent View Estates, Crossing Cove, CVS Riverstone, Discovery at Riverstone, Edgewood,
Enclave, Hartford Landing, Ivory Ridge at Riverstone, Ivy Bend, Kensington, Landmark, U
Parkway, Majestic Point, Marble Bend, Meridian Park, Nandina, Noble Seven, Olive Hill, Pecan
Ridge, Prestwick, Providence, Riverstone North, Sanders Glen, Satya River, Senova, Silver Grove, The Crossing, The Enclave, The Island, The Village, Vintage Trail, Waterside, Wetlands Park, Whisper Rock, Winding Waters, Creekstone Village, U Parkway, Lost Creek, Millwood, Shadow Glen, Stonebrook, Sweetbriar, The Orchard

Evacuation Check List:
• Leave as soon as instructed to and follow the instructions of officials
• Determine safe evacuation routes
• Pack essential items including medicine, important documents, first aid kits, blankets, pillows, phone chargers, critical contacts information, basic need equipment such as glasses or contacts
• Take your pets with you, don’t forget your pet’s food and medication
• Secure your home by locking all doors and windows
• Shut off your homes utilities
• Unplug electrical equipment including appliances, TV’s, and radios
• Take your vehicle and house keys with you
